Frequently Asked Questions

What time do I need to be in Queenstown?

You need to be in Queenstown as early as you can on the morning of the event. Arrivals are generally from 8am onward, with the majority of our guests in Queenstown by 9.45am. The registration form lists the preferred flights we would like to see you come in on.

If flying in, on arrival to the airport, look out for the Colliers sign! If you are making your own way to the first meeting point, make sure you mention this on your registration and then you will be emailed information on what time you need to be where, closer to the time of the event.

What do I wear?

Queenstown is renowned for four seasons in one day! Our recommendation is smart/casual clothing, with layers so that you are warm.

Please make sure you bring a jacket.

Needed or not, sun cream and sun hats will be provided on the day.

Do I bring my bag and when do I go to my hotel?

If you are flying in on the day of the event, there will be an airport transfer waiting for you that will bring you to the first location.

There will also be a transfer to take your bags from you and bring them to your hotel, where they will be placed in your room. Please ensure you have your belongings clearly labelled with your full name (or grab a bag tag from our Colliers representative when you arrive to the QT airport).

Important: You will not check in to the hotel until later on in the evening, after the event has finished.

Can I arrive the day before?

Yes, you can. On the registration form, click the appropriate option you would prefer and then Erica will be in touch with you to assist with the extra nights booking (if you wish to stay at the same hotel). There will be accommodation rates available to you, subject to availability.

Your accommodation on the night of the event is booked and paid for as part of your event ticket.

Can I bring a partner?

No, numbers are tight at this event.

Should you wish to bring your partner to Queenstown, they are more than welcome to stay at the hotel with you but please let Erica know.

Should you want to extend your stay in Queenstown and would like to stay
at the same hotel, please contact Erica direct and she can assist with extending the hotel booking. There will be accommodation rates available to you, subject to availability.

What is actually happening?

You are on a need-to-know basis!

At this stage all you need to know is that from your arrival to Queenstown airport (or the first meeting point if you are not flying in on the morning of the event) we have your every need catered for.

We also have your accommodation arranged for that evening (if you requested it when completing the registration form) and if you flew in on the morning of the event, we will have your bags taken to your hotel and they will be waiting for you in your room after the days event.

There will be a charity auction happening during the day. We will provide you with a list of the auction items prior to the event so you can plan your purchases.

All funds raised support our charities of choice. The main charities supported in 2024 were Graeme Dingle Foundation (nationally), Wakatipu High School Foundation (local to Queenstown) and the Otago Community Hospice (supporting Otago).

The 2025 charities are yet to be confirmed.
