The Colliers Latitude 45° South Lunch started in 2012. Since then, the annual event has become a much-anticipated date in the calendar for Colliers' clients and our top agents.  

The foundation of the 45° South Lunch event is to provide an opportunity for Colliers’ New Zealand to give back to our most valuable clients and to showcase the beauty of Queenstown, and surrounding areas, as a world class destination. As a company, Colliers New Zealand recognises the work undertaken by local schools, groups, not-for-profits and sports teams and strives to offer encouragement in terms of the resources and investment needed to thrive. A live auction is held during the long lunch, with unique and highly valuable experiences up for grabs. Some of these experiences are not available to the public.

This invitation only event sees guests flown in from all over the country, embarking on Queenstown to share with us the picturesque surroundings and first-class hospitality that Central Otago has to offer.

The itinerary involves a morning of activities, such as clay bird shooting and ‘hole in one’ golf at spectacular locations. Followed by a long lunch showcasing the regions fine wine and cuisine, allowing guests time to connect and socialise, with the charity auction being the main event.

The money raised has enabled a long-term commitment to charities
which share similar values and purposes, thus having a greater impact on communities through giving back in a meaningful way.
